Summer Camp
Welcome to Camp Extreme Discoveries!
Have you ever searched for treasure? This summer we will decode clues, read maps, and work together through cooperation and respect to discover the treasure. Join us as we travel through extreme environments of our universe. We will unearth some of the greatest wonders on our voyage! Experiencing the lives of people in different cultures, habitats, and atmospheres will guide us to discover the true strength of character within ourselves. Our adventures will take us to the far ends of the universe: the Artic Circle, the rainforests, hidden caves, the deep oceans, and even to outer space!
And don’t forget about our weekly water park activities and all the entertaining field trips with the possibilities for learning about our world with friends!
Thursday, June 3 through Friday, August 20, 2010 is packed with an extreme quest for treasure and awesome adventures!
June field trips and activities include: Houston Zoo, Mountasia, Bowling, Super Science Fun, Ooey Gooey Goofy Olympic Day, Gym Station Field Days, and Library visits each week
July field trips and activities include: Oil Ranch, Skating, Minute Maid Park Tour, Ooey Gooey Goofy Olympic Day, Sports Fun, and “Oceans” Interactive Presentation from the Houston Natural Science Museum, Gym Station Field Days, and Library visits each week
August field trips and activities include: Children’s Museum, Sports Fun, Aerodrome Ice Skating, Texas Roadhouse Restaurant Tour and Lunch out, and Library visits each week
